Sporting CP women's team prepares for Taça da Liga debut

Sporting CP's women's football team is set to begin its Taça da Liga campaign this Saturday against Rio Ave at Estádio Aurélio Pereira. Coach Micael Sequeira emphasized the importance of the competition, noting it is the only national trophy currently missing from the club's collection.

Sequeira warned that Rio Ave plays an aggressive and direct style of football, requiring maximum attention from his squad. The team aims to maintain its home unbeaten record for the season. Additionally, Sequeira extended well wishes to Paulo Fonseca, the newly appointed coach of the men's team.
