Sporting de Gijón signs striker Antonio Casas on loan

Sporting de Gijón has officially completed the signing of striker Antonio Casas on loan from Venezia. The deal includes an option for the Spanish club to purchase the player at the end of the season.

Casas, who previously played for Córdoba CF, arrives in Gijón following a season in Italy where he made 24 appearances and scored three goals. He is the eleventh signing for Sporting this summer and the third addition to their attacking line. The player has already undergone medical examinations and is expected to join the squad this week, with the possibility of being included in the upcoming match against Tenerife.
