Sporting de Gijón signs US winger Konrad de la Fuente until 2029

Sporting de Gijón have reached an agreement with Swiss side FC Lausanne‑Sport for the transfer of United States international winger Konrad de la Fuente. The 23‑year‑old, born in Miami on 16 July 2001, is a Barcelona academy graduate who has played for Olympique de Marseille, Olympiacos (on loan), Eibar and spent the 2024‑25 season on loan at AD Ceuta. He signed a contract with the Asturian club that runs until 2029. Sporting highlighted his versatility on both flanks and his ability in one‑on‑one situations as key attributes sought by head coach Nicolás Larcamón.
