Sporting events held in Colico and Palmi

Various sporting events have taken place across Italy, including a non-competitive swimming event in Colico and a triathlon in Palmi.

In Colico, approximately one hundred participants joined the Seven Swim Race organized by the Associazione Amici di Claudio ODV and Spatangus. The event focused on community and inclusivity, featuring two Paralympic athletes. Colico Mayor Monica Gilardi attended to recognize the association's summer beach surveillance efforts.

In Palmi, the seventh edition of the Triathlon Race 2026 attracted 150 athletes from several Italian regions, including Calabria, Sicily, and Emilia-Romagna. The competition included Aquathlon for youth categories and a Triathlon Sprint Silver race. The course spanned 25.75 kilometers, consisting of a 750-meter swim in the Tyrrhenian Sea, a 20-kilometer cycling circuit, and a 5-kilometer run along the coastline.
