SportNXT Summit to convene leaders in Melbourne ahead of first NFL game

More than 75 sporting leaders from Australia and abroad will gather in Melbourne for the 2026 SportNXT Summit from September 7 to 9. Held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, the annual sports business summit will feature speakers from organizations including the Los Angeles Rams, San Francisco 49ers, AFL, Cricket Australia, Chelsea Football Club, Disney, and ESPN.

NFL Executive Vice President Peter O’Reilly will headline the program. The summit takes place just days before the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers meet at the MCG on September 11, marking the first regular-season NFL game played in Australia. The event aims to discuss sports business, technology, investment, and the evolving relationship between sports and audiences.
