SportPesa unveils 2019 Racing Point F1 car replica in Kenya

SportPesa has unveiled a full-scale replica of the 2019 Racing Point Formula 1 car at the 54th Africa Concours d’Elegance held at the Ngong Racecourse in Kenya. The event marks a reconnection to the brand’s motorsport history, specifically its 2019 title sponsorship of the Racing Point F1 Team, during which drivers Sergio Pérez and Lance Stroll competed under the SportPesa banner.

Through the “Home For Good” initiative, the company plans to take the car on a tour of malls and other public spaces across Kenya. SportPesa Head of Operations Benard Chauro stated that the goal is to bring the Formula 1 experience closer to Kenyan fans who may not have the opportunity to attend a Grand Prix in person.
