Sports clubs El Porvenir and Huracán mark major milestones

Argentine club El Porvenir celebrated its 111th anniversary with a gathering of members, fans, and former players, including Carlos ‘Loco’ Enrique. During the festivities, three institutional groups—1915, Beto Pascutti, and Porvenir para Todos—announced an agreement to support Gabriel Bran as a unified candidate to challenge the current administration in upcoming elections.

In Uruguay, Huracán inaugurated its new stadium located at Yapeyú and Enrique Chaplin avenues. The opening ceremony, attended by players and officials, preceded the club's first official match of the Torneo Apertura. Current president Gabriel Vidart noted that the facility will serve both the first team and the club's youth divisions, fulfilling a long-term project supported by previous leaders such as Luis Rivero and Juan Ramón Silvera.
