Sports clubs in Croatia host international training camps

Various sports clubs in Croatia recently hosted international training camps and gatherings focused on skill exchange and building friendships through athletics.

In Zadar, Taekwondo klub Plovanija hosted coaches, athletes, and members from Croatia and abroad. Notable attendees included Tamara Prebegan of TKD Jastreb, Mirjana Brežan of TKD Karlovac, and representatives from Fight Club Shony from Slovenia. The gathering also featured world karate champion Danil Domdjoni and a participant from a Slovakian taekwondo club.

On the island of Rab, a water polo camp was held at the Pod Marjan beach from August 9 to 16. The event brought together young players from the Croatian club VK Garestin and the Hungarian club VK Kanisza. The program included three daily training sessions—one on land and two in the sea—aimed at fostering cooperation between the Croatian and Hungarian schools of water polo.
