Sports competitions held in Brazil feature bench press and running events

Various sporting events took place in Brazil, including a bench press championship and a running competition.

The bench press championship, organized by Ironx Sports at the CTT João Netto in Ribeirão Pires, featured both male and female categories. Competitors were judged on relative weight, comparing their body weight to the load lifted. In the men's category, Rodrigo Alex took first place by lifting 134 kg at a body weight of 93.9 kg. In the women's category, Suellen Sechinatto secured first place, lifting 58 kg at a body weight of 60.5 kg. The event also served as a social initiative, collecting non-perishable food donations from attendees.

Additionally, the Sparkling Night Run drew approximately 1,200 participants. The event included a kids' race and adult races across distances of 3, 5, and 10 kilometers. Daniel Valiatti, 49, won the 10 km race and the overall title. The competition saw participants ranging in age from 3 to 85 years old.
