Various sporting events took place in Vietnam on November 1, 2026, promoting traditional culture and public health.

In Gia Lai province, more than 100 athletes from six villages in Bien Ho commune participated in a minority ethnic sports tournament. Held as part of the Gong Festival and Chu Dang Ya Volcano Wild Sunflower Week, the competition featured stick pushing and tug-of-war. The event aimed to preserve traditional sports and foster community solidarity.

In Dak Lak province, over 1,200 participants joined a cross-country running race in Tan An ward. Organized by Vietnam Law Newspaper and the Hanoi Law University branch, the race carried the theme “Quit Smoking – Light Up the Future.” The event served to raise awareness about tobacco control laws and promote healthy lifestyles among students and local residents.
