The Cmb Porto Torres basketball club raised concerns over transparency after a proposal emerged to grant the municipal facility to the Se. Sa Boxing association. The boxing group has proposed a private investment plan to modernize and requalify the building. The municipal sports assessor stated that no sports association will be left without facilities, noting that if the proposal proceeds, current users would be relocated to other city sports centers. A final decision remains pending further administrative review and City Council discussion.
