Sports industry and labor welfare discussed in Milan events

The Vero Volley Consortium held the final session of its “Il Tempo dello Sport” series at Bocconi University in Milan. The event focused on the sports industry value chain, featuring contributions from institutional, entrepreneurial, and sporting representatives. In 2025, Vero Volley was appointed by the Lombardy Region to lead the development of the sports industry chain within the territory.

Separately, the television program “Benessere Lavoro – Sì, Subito!” aired on One Tv, focusing on the relationship between work, family, and private life. Discussions involved union representatives and health professionals. Antonio Albrizio, General Secretary of UIL Lombardia, emphasized that excessive work rhythms and stress are safety risks, advocating for better organization and the use of artificial intelligence to return time to workers. Claudia Dabbene, General Secretary of Uilca Lombardia, noted that while companies view time as a unit of profit, unions view it as a tool for worker dignity.
