Sports infrastructure improvements announced in Čazma and Bar

The city of Čazma is reopening its renovated sports hall, locally known as the „balon”, on November 3, 2026. The reconstruction and energy renovation project cost over 700,000 euros, with 400,000 euros provided by the Ministry of Tourism and Sport and the remaining 300,894.59 euros funded by the City of Čazma. Improvements include a new PVC floor, updated roofing, and energy-efficient LED lighting. The facility will host volleyball, small football, badminton, tennis, and handball.

In Bar, the Sports and Recreational Center has completed the installation of new modular changing rooms at its auxiliary fields. The project, which follows a five-year wait, includes 100 meters of access paths, new fencing, and improved lighting for the small football field. The area has also been enhanced with greenery, seating, and bicycle parking to better serve local youth athletes and sports organizations.
