Sports infrastructure upgrades completed in Bielsko-Biała and Kcynia

Recent modernization projects have successfully reopened sports facilities in Bielsko-Biała and Kcynia, Poland.

In Bielsko-Biała, the Orlik facility on Juliusza Słowackiego Street has undergone a thorough renovation, featuring new pitches and a refreshed running track. Managed by the Bielsko-Biała Sport and Recreation Center (BBOSiR), the site serves over 100,000 visitors annually, hosting school activities, individual athletes, and various recreational groups including runners and chess players.

In Kcynia, the Orlik pitch located near the Jan Czochralski Primary School has officially reopened following a modernization project valued at approximately 1.13 million PLN gross. The investment was co-financed by the Ministry of Sport and Tourism through the ‘Moje Boisko – Orlik 2012’ program. The project, executed by the company Torakol, aims to provide safer and improved conditions for local children, youth, and adults to engage in physical activity.
