Italian sports initiatives: Grottammare event deadlines and ministerial meeting in Bari

In Italy, several sports-related initiatives are taking place. In Grottammare, the municipality is approaching the deadline for applications for the third edition of Grottammare Sport Week, scheduled for September 6 to 19. The event, which has the patronage of the Marche Region and Coni Marche, is organized in collaboration with UISP. Applications for sports associations to present projects close on August 25, while calls for economic supporters and technical providers close on August 24. The event aims to promote physical activity as a tool for well-being and social cohesion, with a main demonstration event planned for September 13.

In Bari, Minister for Sport and Youth Andrea Abodi is scheduled to meet with a group of under-18 athletes from the Puglia region. The meeting, held at the Hotel Parco dei Principi, aims to recognize the talent and dedication of young competitors in disciplines such as athletics, cycling, sailing, and equestrian sports. This gathering occurs on the eve of the XX Mediterranean Games, which are set to begin on August 21.
