Sports initiatives launch in Sierra Leone and St. Vincent and the Grenadines

In Sierra Leone, the Ministry of Sports and the National Sports Authority mobilized over 500 youths for a cleaning exercise at Bo Stadium on September 12, 2026. The initiative included members of the Green Ladies and Green Men Vanguard Organisation to improve the maintenance and safety of the facility.

In St. Vincent and the Grenadines, the Division of Sports and Physical Activity launched the 2026–2027 National School Sports Program. The expanded calendar includes restructured tournament formats and enhanced athlete care, beginning with the Inter-Schools Cross Country Championships on September 24, 2026. The program features various competitions in football, netball, cricket, and track and field scheduled through May 2027.
