Hernán Encina transitions from professional football to bricklaying

In Argentine football news, former professional midfielder Hernán “Sapito” Encina has transitioned from a career playing for clubs like Rosario Central and Barcelona SC to working as a bricklayer alongside his father in the Las Flores neighborhood. Encina, who played 366 professional matches, continues to stay connected to the sport by playing in amateur veteran tournaments and coaching local youth.

In regional competition, FC Trenque Lauquen suffered a 1-0 defeat against Atlético Villegas in their debut for Zone 2 of the Torneo Regional Federal Amateur. The decisive goal was scored by Albano Orueta in the 87th minute.

Additionally, sports journalism students in Trevelin completed their first live football broadcast in collaboration with Radio Municipal de Trevelin (FM del Valle). The students covered the match between Coronel Fontana and Estudiantes Unidos de Bariloche as part of a practical training project.
