Sports management changes in CD Villamar, Torremolinos, and Talleres
Several football clubs are undergoing leadership changes. CD Villamar has announced the departure of head coach Cristian Alayón. Alayón previously led the team to a fourth-place finish in Segunda Regional during the 2025-26 season, which contributed to the club's administrative promotion to Primera Regional. The team currently sits in 11th place in their division.
In Spain, Juventud Torremolinos CF has dismissed sporting director Raúl Albentosa. The club has experienced significant instability under its current ownership, including multiple coaching changes. Following the dismissal of César Arzo, coach Jon Barny took over and has secured recent points in the Primera Federación Group 2.
In Argentina, Talleres vice president Sebastián Fassi has denied rumors regarding his departure from the club. Speaking to Showsport Radio, Fassi refuted claims that he was removed from his position, stating that he remains active in his role. The club is currently facing a difficult sporting period, with its Clausura 2026 campaign marking one of its lowest point totals in the first 14 matches in recent history.
