Sports tournaments held in Chapada dos Guimarães and Saquarema

Various beach sports competitions are taking place in Brazil this weekend. In Chapada dos Guimarães, the Centro-Oeste Beach Volleyball Tournament is hosting approximately 150 athletes across Sub-17, Sub-19, and Adult categories. Organized by the Mato Grosso Volleyball Federation with local government support, the event aims to promote regional sports integration and boost local commerce.

In Saquarema, the 4th stage of the National Footvolley Open is being held at Praia da Barrinha. The competition features about 200 athletes, including top-ranked players such as Tavinho. The event includes a footvolley clinic and environmental education initiatives, with organizers expecting the tournament to stimulate the local economy through increased tourism and service consumption.
