Sports Update: Alcaraz faces Arnaldi in Tokyo as Almansa wins Moto3 in Japan

In Tokyo, top-seeded tennis player Carlos Alcaraz is set to face Matteo Arnaldi in the round of 16 at the ATP 500 tournament. Alcaraz, ranked third in the world, enters the match following a victory over Alex Michelsen. Arnaldi advances after defeating Rei Sakamoto. The two athletes have previously met twice, with Alcaraz winning both encounters.

In Moto3 racing at the Japanese Grand Prix in Motegi, David Almansa secured his third seasonal victory and the pole position. Almansa successfully defended his lead against Maximo Quiles, who finished just 0.046 seconds behind. The result delays Quiles' championship clinching, which is now expected to take place at the upcoming event in Indonesia.
