Spanish sports teams conclude preseason preparations

Various Spanish sports teams are concluding their preseason preparations as they head into new competitive seasons.

In hockey línea, Arona Tenerife Guanches is preparing for the Supercopa de España in Zaragoza, maintaining much of their successful roster including Petr Skoloud and Marek Loskot, while welcoming Italian goalkeeper Francesco Colucci.

In basketball, Unicaja secured a 105-67 victory against Melilla Ciudad del Deporte in their first preseason friendly under coach Txus Vidorreta. Kendrick Perry earned MVP honors, though the team noted a foot injury to Yannick Nzosa. Meanwhile, Celta Femenino Zorka has begun its preseason under Dani Nieto as Cristina Cantero prepares for the Women's World Cup.

In football, CD Numancia finished an undefeated preseason with two wins and four draws. Don Benito concluded their preparations with a 1-0 win over Calvo Sotelo Puertollano ahead of their Segunda Federación debut. Turégano CF also completed their preseason following the V Trofeo Francisco Sánchez. In women's futsal, Ceuta Femenino is set to debut in the Liga Iberdrola FS following a series of friendly matches and six new signings.
