Sports Update: MC Alger faces MB Rouissat and SAM Mauléon prepares for RC Auch

In Algerian football, MC Alger is set to face MB Rouissat in a Ligue 1 Mobilis match on Friday, September 18, 2026. Following a strong performance in the CAF Champions League, where they defeated ASN Nigelec 5-0 in the return leg, the three-time defending champions aim to maintain momentum in the domestic league. MB Rouissat enters the match following a 2-0 victory against Olympique Akbou and will look to replicate their 1-1 draw against MC Alger from May.

In French rugby, SAM Mauléon prepares to host RC Auch at Marius Rodrigo this Saturday. The team is managing significant injury concerns, including a serious tibia-fibula fracture suffered by Alexandre Tisnerat. To bolster their squad against the highly-favored Auch side, Mauléon will see the return of third-line players Romain Caballero and Yohan Etchebarne.
