Sports updates: Archery in Norway and cycling World Championships in Canada

In Norway, the Norway Cup archery competition held at Gaularhallen featured participants from the Førde archery club. Despite some illness-related absences, over 20 archers competed in the regional rounds for Region West and Region North-West. Notable performances included high rankings in various classes such as Traditional 40, Traditional 60, Barebow 40, and Recurve 40.

In Canada, the cycling World Championships in Montreal saw Jesper Stiansen secure a bronze medal in the U23 category. Norwegian cyclist Embret Svestad-Bårdseng completed the race but struggled to maintain pace with the leaders during the final 90 kilometers, noting the physical toll of a long season that included two Grand Tours and over 11,000 racing kilometers.
