Sports updates from Italy: Samb loses in futsal while Maceratese draws in Serie D

In Italian futsal Serie B, Samb suffered an 8-5 defeat against CUS Macerata. Despite a strong effort and goals from Gomez and captain Mindoli, Samb struggled with the small pitch dimensions. A failed power play attempt by coach Seghetti in the closing moments contributed to the loss.

In Serie D football, Maceratese played to a 1-1 draw against K-Sport Montecchio Gallo. The result leaves Maceratese in third-to-last place in the standings. Following the match, coach Sante Alfonsi acknowledged the poor performance and expressed understanding toward protesting fans, while noting the team's efforts to improve through upcoming transfer market moves.
