Sportur Galicia Inclusive Games Kick Off in Ourense Fairgrounds

The Sportur Galicia Inclusive Games opened on May 26 at the Expourense fairgrounds in Ourense, featuring around twenty federations and clubs. The multi‑day event offers open exhibitions, competitions and training sessions for athletes and the public, promoting sport as a tool for integration and personal development. Activities include handball, volleyball, tai‑chi, indoor rowing, hockey, futsal, cycling, badminton, pickleball and an orientation circuit, with special programmes for schoolchildren and participants with functional diversity.

Organisers aim to showcase local sports organisations, attract new participants and foster community engagement across all ages and abilities.
