Sportverein der Zukunft initiative launches digital coaching for clubs

The ‘Sportverein der Zukunft’ (Sports Club of the Future) initiative, supported by BASF, is entering a new phase to assist grassroots sports clubs with digitalization. From September 1 to October 18, clubs can apply for a free digital check to assess their current technological status and receive recommendations for development.

Selected clubs can participate in a digital coaching program running from January 2027 to May 2028, providing 17 months of tailored support from experts. The program also offers financial grants of up to €2,000 for digital projects and provides access to a network of digitally advanced clubs.
