SportyNet renews Bundesliga broadcasting rights through 2029

SportyNet has renewed its broadcasting rights for the Bundesliga for an additional three seasons, extending its coverage of the German football league through the 2028/29 cycle.

Under the new agreement, the platform will broadcast three matches per round. Two of these matches will be available for free on SportyNet’s official YouTube channel, while one will be reserved for subscription television. The new cycle is set to begin with the 2026/27 season, featuring a free broadcast of the opening match between Bayern Munich and Stuttgart on August 28.

Julia Rossi, Director of Strategy and New Business at SportyNet, stated that the renewal demonstrates a commitment to providing continuous and relevant long-term programming as a pillar of the company’s growth strategy.
