Spotify launches Fresh Finds Forward to support independent artists

Spotify has launched Fresh Finds Forward, a new initiative designed to support approximately 10,000 emerging independent artists annually. The program provides participants with a structured package of resources intended to foster long-term career growth.

Benefits for participating artists include early access to select Spotify tools and features, as well as prioritized access to partnerships for music videos and tours. The program also offers premium subscriptions to music production software, specifically LANDR Studio Pro and Splice’s Creator plan. Additionally, artists will receive mental health resources, including six months of free therapy through BetterHelp.

For US-based artists, the program includes free studio time at locations such as Electric Lady Studios in New York, The Lighthouse at Ocean Way in Nashville, and Spotify Studios in Los Angeles. Participants will also receive a dedicated Fresh Finds badge on their Spotify profiles to signal editorial recognition. The initiative is an evolution of the existing Fresh Finds playlist ecosystem, which has supported over 80,000 artists across 127 countries over the last decade.
