Spotify releases exclusive audiovisual project by Brazilian singer Jão

Spotify has launched an exclusive audiovisual project titled ‘Spotify e Jão: Cada lembrança nos trouxe até aqui’, marking the Brazilian singer Jão’s return to the stage after a hiatus of more than one year. Recorded in São Paulo, the performance was filmed one month after the release of his comeback album, ‘Memórias Póstumas’.

The project features a repertoire spanning various stages of the artist's career, including tracks from his albums Lobos, Anti-Herói, PIRATA, and SUPER. The setlist includes six songs: ‘Ainda Te Amo’, ‘A Última Noite’, ‘Acontece’, ‘Locadora’, ‘Por Você’, and ‘Carta Final do Jão’.

The recording involved Premium Spotify users who are among the artist's most frequent listeners. During the performance, Jão engaged in a sentimental exchange involving letters, including a reading of a letter written by his mother, which led to an emotional moment for the singer. The video for ‘Por Você’ reached the eighth position on Spotify’s global music video charts.
