Spray Engineering Devices to upgrade Shivshakti Sugars plant

Spray Engineering Devices Limited (SED) has been selected by Shivshakti Sugars Limited to implement an integrated process house solution for its 7,500 TCD plant in Belagavi, Karnataka. The project involves strengthening the evaporator station and adding a sugar crystallization section to the existing syrup production plant.

The upgrade is designed to facilitate the plant’s conversion to plantation white sugar production at 340 TCH, aiming for increased efficiency and modernized manufacturing. SED’s scope includes the design, engineering, equipment supply, erection, and commissioning of a comprehensive package. This package features condensate juice heaters, falling film evaporators, spray continuous pans, and vertical crystallizers with associated automation.

Key equipment dispatch is targeted for 15 September, with full plant commissioning scheduled for completion by 31 October 2026.
