Spring Farm Parkway Stage Two designs unveiled for Sydney southwest

The Australian Federal and New South Wales governments have released the proposed design for Stage Two of the Spring Farm Parkway in southwest Sydney. The project involves a three-kilometre, four-lane road intended to complete the east-west link between Menangle Park and Spring Farm.

This stage aims to provide a direct connection between the Camden area and the Hume Highway, addressing long-standing community requests for improved connectivity. Currently, motorists must use Narellan Road, which adds travel time and increases pressure on existing corridors as the Camden region grows.

While $15 million has been committed to progress the planning and design work, specific funding for the actual construction of Stage Two has not yet been allocated. The governments stated that delivery funding will be considered through future budget processes following the completion of the current planning phase. The local community is now invited to provide feedback on the proposed design and the Review of Environmental Factors (REF).
