Springboks arrive in Australia for Wallabies Test

The South African national rugby team, the Springboks, has arrived in Australia following a series victory against the All Blacks in the United States. The squad traveled approximately 15,760km from Baltimore to Sydney to begin preparations for a one-off Test match against the Wallabies.

The match is scheduled for Sunday, September 27, at Optus Stadium in Perth. Springboks coach Rassie Erasmus noted that the team expects a highly motivated Wallabies side playing in front of a home crowd, presenting a different challenge than their recent matches against Argentina and New Zealand.

This fixture serves as part of the Springboks' long-term preparation for the 2027 Rugby World Cup, which will be hosted in Australia. The team is focusing on player recovery and managing the physical toll of extensive international travel before training resumes.
