Springboks legends win inaugural TWH Legends Cup

The Springboks legends won the inaugural TWH Legends Cup presented by Compleat Golfer at the Pearl Valley Golf Estate. Following a dramatic second day, the rugby legends secured victory through a count-out after finishing level on 11.5 points with the Bafana Bafana legends.

The Proteas legends, led by Pat Symcox, finished in third place with 10 points, trailing the leaders by only 1.5 points. The event featured former international players from rugby, cricket, and football competing in a Ryder Cup-style format to settle sporting rivalries on the golf course.

Notable highlights included a challenge for an R1.8-million watch offered for a hole-in-one on the 13th hole, which former Springbok captain John Smit narrowly missed.
