Springboks release two key players ahead of Wallabies Test

South Africa rugby coach Rassie Erasmus has released two key players, Pieter-Steph du Toit and Damian de Allende, from the Springboks squad ahead of their upcoming Test match against the Wallabies in Perth. The decision allows the veteran players to return home to spend time with their families following a demanding series against the All Blacks.

The Springboks are currently training in Terrigal, Australia, as they prepare for the September 27 fixture. Erasmus noted that the match against Australia carries significant weight, particularly as the Wallabies prepare to host the next World Cup. He emphasized that the team must readjust their approach, as the Australian side presents a different challenge compared to their recent opponents.
