Springfield Rotary Club hosts fundraisers for polio eradication and local community

The Rotary Club of Springfield is conducting several fundraising initiatives to support community projects and global health efforts. From October 6 to October 24, Springfield Beer Company is participating in a “Pints for Polio” campaign. For every pint of 95 Golden Lager sold, $1 will be donated to assist Rotary International in its mission to eradicate polio.

Additionally, the Springfield Rotary Club will host its 72nd Annual Penny Sale on Saturday, October 17, at Riverside Middle School. This event features over 300 prizes and a $5,000 cash grand prize drawing. The Penny Sale serves as the club’s largest annual fundraiser, historically providing more than $600,000 to the Springfield community through scholarships and various local organization support.
