Sprite becomes official soft drink partner for NBL and WNBL

Sprite has entered into a multi-year partnership to become the official soft drink partner for Australia’s National Basketball League (NBL) and Women’s National Basketball League (WNBL). The agreement is set to commence with the 2026-27 season.

The partnership will feature Sprite courtside presence across regular-season fixtures, HoopsFest, the Finals Series, and the NBL Next Stars program. A central component of the activation is a content platform titled ‘The Freshest Dunks’, which aims to capture high-energy moments for broadcast, digital, and in-arena use.

In addition to highlighting major game moments, the deal includes a commitment to amplifying WNBL athletes through integrated social campaigns to support the commercial growth of women’s professional basketball. This move follows Sprite’s recent global basketball engagements, including its return as the NBA’s official global soft drink partner in 2026 and a partnership with EuroLeague Basketball.
