Sprouts Farmers Market names Nick Konat as new CEO

Sprouts Farmers Market has announced that Nick Konat will succeed Jack Sinclair as president and chief executive officer. Konat, who joined the company in 2022, will also join the board of directors on January 4.

Sinclair, who has served as CEO since 2019, will transition to the role of executive chairman. The company stated that the board spent significant time developing a succession plan to transition the retailer to its next generation of leadership.

Konat previously served as Sprouts’ president and chief operating officer, overseeing operations, marketing, merchandising, supply chain, and innovation. His background includes leadership roles at Petco, where he was executive vice president and chief marketing officer, and nearly seven years at Target in various food operations and merchandising planning roles.
