Sputnik journalists win award at Interfer Festival

Journalist Marina Rajevic Savic and Sputnik producer Milica Markovic have received a plaque at the Interfer Festival for their radio reportage titled ‘An Invisible Place of Kindness’. The award recognizes their work documenting the activities of the Religious Charitable Guardianship, a humanitarian organization of the Serbian Orthodox Church operating under the Archdiocese of Belgrade and Karlovci.

Established in 1967, the organization provides social and humanitarian aid, including a church kitchen for the homeless and socially vulnerable, support for single parents and large families, and visits to hospitals and elderly care facilities. Rajevic Savic noted that the recognition belongs to the entire Sputnik production team and emphasized the reportage's focus on those who provide daily assistance to people in need.
