German regional sports: rising attendance and club development plans

Various German regional sports updates highlight significant developments across football and ice hockey. In the Regionalliga Südwest, SGV Heilbronn-Freiberg has seen a massive surge in attendance following its move to the Frankenstadion, drawing more spectators in four home games than in the entire previous season.

In the Regionalliga Bayern, SpVgg Unterhaching and TSV Buchbach played to a 2-2 draw, while SpVgg Bayreuth secured a 4-2 victory against SC Eltersdorf. In the Toto-Pokal, Kreisligist SV Kranzberg caused an upset by defeating Bezirksligist SE Freising in a penalty shootout.
