SQOOL Co. announces Sill Dogs desktop pet app for Steam

SQOOL Co., Ltd. has announced the opening of the Steam store page for “Sill Dogs,” a desktop pet application scheduled for release on September 23, 2026. The app allows small dogs to live on a user’s desktop screen, where they interact with the workspace by walking along the tops of open windows, jumping between windows, and sleeping in corners.

Developed as a companion to the previously released “Sill Cats,” the application aims to replicate the gestures and behaviors of real dogs. While some dogs in the app may be mischievous, others are designed to avoid interfering with the user’s work.

“Sill Dogs” will be free to play on Windows via Steam, including a base pack featuring two breeds. Additional breeds will be available as paid DLC, priced at approximately USD 1.99 (or 270 JPY) per pack. The software will support 31 languages, including English, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, and Russian.
