Square Enix addresses fan feedback on Final Fantasy VII Remake series

Director Naoki Hamaguchi said the upcoming Final Fantasy VII: Revelation will retain many minigames from the original title but will add difficulty settings, allow players to skip them, and ensure most rewards are not tied to combat items, responding to player feedback from the previous installment.

Producer Yoshi‑P acknowledged ongoing fan requests for remakes of other classic entries such as Final Fantasy VI, VIII and IX, noting that the scale of those games would likely require four or five separate releases, making them a longer‑term prospect compared with the current VII trilogy.
