Square Enix Announces Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and New Collectible Figure

Square Enix officially announced the game Final Fantasy VII Rebirth on 6 June, confirming a spring 2027 release for PC (Steam/Epic), Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Director Naoki Hamaguchi said the announcement generated strong media interest in North America, Europe and China and highlighted user feedback that has shaped gameplay tweaks such as optional mini‑game skipping.

The company also unveiled a 1/4‑scale Master Line collectible of the character Aerith Gainsborough, available in a standard version and a deluxe version priced at ¥264,000 and ¥286,000 respectively. The statue is scheduled for release later in 2026, with reservations opening on 31 July.
