Square Enix announces new Dragon Quest merchandise lineup

Square Enix has announced a new lineup of Dragon Quest series merchandise to be released sequentially starting December 8. The collection includes unique items such as “Smile Slime” compressed towels shaped like Slime and Metal Slime, which expand into full towels when placed in water. These towels are priced at 3,080 yen each.

Other upcoming products include the “Smile Slime” Japanese-style series, featuring items such as noren curtains, tenugui towels, pouches, and gauze handkerchiefs, with prices starting from 770 yen. Additionally, Daruma Slime plushies in two colors and two sizes will be available.

On December 14, the company will release “Dragon Quest Honobono Quest” plush mascots. This collection features deformed versions of characters including the Hero from Dragon Quest I, Princess Laura, and various princes and princesses from Dragon Quest II and III. These mascots come with ball chains, making them suitable as bag charms or collectibles, and are priced at 2,640 yen each.
