Square Enix offers deep discounts on Final Fantasy VII Remake and Rebirth

Square Enix has launched significant sales for the Final Fantasy VII remake trilogy across multiple digital storefronts, including the Nintendo eShop and PlayStation Store. The discounts apply to both Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, with some versions seeing price reductions of up to 85 percent.

On the Nintendo eShop, the Digital Deluxe Editions of both titles have seen substantial price cuts, with Rebirth available for approximately 8.99 Euro. Similarly, reports from Japan indicate that the PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 versions of Rebirth have been listed for as low as 986 Yen. These sales are expected to run until November 20, 2026.

The promotional period comes ahead of the trilogy conclusion, Final Fantasy VII Revelation, which is scheduled for release on April 8, 2027. While these deep discounts have surprised consumers, Square Enix leadership has previously indicated a strategic shift toward prioritizing new intellectual properties over a continuous cycle of classic game remakes.
