Square Enix schedules Dragon Quest Monsters 4 launch on Dec 3 2026

Square Enix announced that the next entry in the Dragon Quest Monsters series, titled Dragon Quest Monsters 4 (also known as Il Regno Sfiorato), will be released on 3 December 2026. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2 and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store, with a physical version limited to Switch, Switch 2 and PS5.

The title features more than 500 monsters and follows protagonists Bianca and Nera as they hunt for the legendary Leaves of Life. Four downloadable content packs will launch alongside the base game, covering special dungeons, a racing mini‑game, a slime‑transforming ring and a VIP recruitment package. Prices range from €59.99 for the standard edition, €94.99 for a Digital Deluxe version that includes early‑access and extra items, up to €219.99 for a Collector’s edition.
