Squeeze cancels Virginia concert after fatal tour bus accident

The band Squeeze has canceled its scheduled concert at the Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts in Vienna, Virginia, following a fatal accident on the venue's property.

A worker was reportedly killed when the supporting apparatus used to secure a tour bus malfunctioned, causing the vehicle to fall on the individual. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. While it has not been confirmed if the vehicle involved was the band's own tour bus, the incident occurred in the venue's parking lot.

In a statement, Squeeze expressed that they were ‘deeply saddened and shocked’ by the loss of life. Following discussions with venue management and authorities, the band decided to cancel the performance. They indicated they would work with promoters to discuss the possibility of rescheduling and will provide updates to ticket holders as they become available.
