Squier releases Troy Van Leeuwen Telecaster XII signature guitar

Fender has introduced the Paranormal Troy Van Leeuwen Telecaster XII, a new Squier signature model developed with Queens of the Stone Age guitarist Troy Van Leeuwen. This instrument marks the first artist signature to join Squier’s Paranormal series.

Designed to provide an affordable entry point for musicians interested in the shimmering harmonics and layered textures of a 12-string guitar, the model features a Nyatoh body with a custom Copper Age finish. To address common 12-string challenges, the guitar includes a top-load/string-through bridge to improve tuning stability and ease restringing. The design aims to balance atmospheric, ambient sounds with traditional Telecaster rhythm and lead capabilities.
