SRA bans paralegal Nishaat Shamas Saeed for forging signatures and falsifying documents

The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) has issued an order barring Nishaat Shamas Saeed, a senior immigration paralegal at Elaahi & Co, from working in the legal profession without prior approval. Investigations revealed that Saeed forged client signatures on four declaration forms, fabricated an English‑language certificate, and created a false email trail to conceal her misconduct in a Home Office immigration application. The dishonest conduct occurred over several days in mid‑February 2025, leading to her dismissal from a pending training contract scheduled for June 2025. The SRA concluded that her actions caused serious detriment to a client and imposed the restriction to protect the integrity of the profession.
