Srđan Amidžić criticizes political leaders in Sarajevo

Srđan Amidžić, the Minister of Finance and Treasury in the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, has expressed strong criticism regarding the political climate in Sarajevo. Amidžić stated that he has experienced “true hatred” since beginning his work in the capital, attributing this to the political leaders in Sarajevo.

He criticized political figures for what he described as an obsession with their goals at any cost, noting that previous blockades and obstructions from the other entity have harmed all citizens, regardless of ethnicity. Amidžić emphasized that border crossings and tax benefits, such as VAT refunds on first properties, affect Bosniaks, Croats, and Serbs alike, yet political actions continue to cause friction.

Amidžić also singled out Zijad Krnjić, labeling him a primary obstacle to progress and mentioning his involvement in political campaigns despite claims of expert neutrality.
