Srđan Kuzmić transfers from Viborg to FC Lorient

Slovenian international defender Srđan Kuzmić has officially joined French Ligue 1 club FC Lorient from Danish side Viborg FF. The 22-year-old fullback signed a long-term contract that runs until June 2030.

Lorient reportedly paid a transfer fee of approximately 3 million euros for the player. Kuzmić, who is noted for his versatility in playing as both a left and right defender, made 86 appearances for Viborg, contributing six goals and five assists.

Lorient's sporting director, Laurent Koscielny, stated that the club had been monitoring Kuzmić for several months, citing his tactical discipline and physical readiness. Kuzmić expressed excitement about joining the project, noting that Lorient is a club that trusts young players.
